Light schedule tonight, but I still want to get some action on the Seton Hall - WVa game. Gimme Seton Hall (-1) at home for this one. I think they rebound from their blowout loss and take it to the Mountaineers.
Go Wake!
In the podcast, we chatted about what I like, but I’ve since changed my mind on one. Below are my picks for night.
Notre Dame (+1) v Pitt - Reverse line movement play on this one. Almost 70% of the public is on Pitt, but the line has moved from its open ND +3.5 to +1 in a short period of time. Gimme the Irish.
Providence (-1.5) @ St Johns - Plain and simple, PC has been the better team so far this year. I’m going with the squad that hasn’t struggled to score and protects the ball better.
Good Luck to everyone out there!
Today might be the actual Christmas for Big East fans across the nation as conference play opens up with Pitt-ND & Providence-St Johns. We’re previewing those games and talking about the slate of games for Wednesday night as well. Cheers & Happy Holidays from the Six Overtimes crew.
What better way to spend the stressful holiday commute than the dissecting of non-conference play of all 16 Big East teams? Scott and Chas break it down, slice it up and serve it on a glorious Kwan-mas-kkah platter. Listen in, enjoy the holidays and see you on Tuesday for the first night of - oh my goodness - Big East action!
We’re talking with Anthony Calabro of blog9450.wordpress.com about the NBA prospects of Dion Waiters in this edition of the Six Overtimes podcast. What are his strengths? What’s keeping him from being a more sought after NBA player? What teams could really use a guy like this? We’re chatting about all of it.
Troy Machir of ballinisahabit.net joins Chas and Scott to talk about Syracuse’s insane depth, basketball as a possible major at Uconn and trying to make sense of Expansion-ocalypse.

Tonight, with 4 cards available in the Big East, I’m once again going against the conference that feeds me.
Cleveland State -3 @ USF. Always wary of road favorites, but USF has really had a hard time protecting the ball and scoring the basketball. Looking for this game to be in the 50s and pretty tight, but I think the Vikings pull it out by 7-10 pts.
Tennessee Tech +16 @ West Virginia. Looking at this one as a letdown game for the Mountaineers as they look ahead to their trip to Vegas to play Baylor, among others. Also - Tenn Tech is 6-4 this season, so they know how to win.
